Biografia
Cheng Gwan-Min nasceu em 1917 em Guangdong, China. Ele já foi ator de teatro e locutor. Em 1936, ele estreou "O Massacre de Três Dias em Guangzhou" em Guangzhou. Durante a sua longa carreira de mais de meio século, realizou mais de 200 filmes, na sua maioria cantoneses.
Um hábil imitador de cantores do Oriente e do Ocidente, Cheng lançou vários álbuns e executou óperas e musicais cantoneses. Ele ganhou o apelido de "Elvis Presley do Oriente".
A partir da década de 1970, tornou-se apresentador do clássico programa de variedades "Enjoy Yourself Tonight", com participações ocasionais em filmes.
Ele faleceu em 1995.
