Biografia
Natural de Taiwan, David Lam Wai chamou a atenção pela primeira vez em 1984 com seu papel como líder de um grupo de aspirantes a ladrões de joias do continente no clássico Long Arm of the Law, de Johnny Mak. Ele começou no cinema com pequenos papéis nos estúdios Shaw Brothers e, depois de se estabelecer como ator principal, participou de vários filmes de crime, ação e gangster ao longo das décadas de 1980 e 90.
