Biografia
Nascida em Hong Kong, Susan Shaw Yam-Yam mudou-se para Taiwan com o pai ainda jovem, estudando enfermagem durante cinco anos após a formatura e depois trabalhando como enfermeira num navio. Depois de viajar por 23 países, ela decidiu desembarcar em Hong Kong em busca de outro emprego, primeiro cantando em uma boate e depois se tornando atriz. Ela atua na indústria cinematográfica de Hong Kong desde 1970. Ela ganhou quatro Hong Kong Film Awards de Melhor Atriz (2008, 2011, 2013, 2018).
