Pyo Nari works as a weathercaster at SBC's news division, dreaming of becoming a news anchor while handling daily menial tasks. Nari joins a filming crew for the TV station's public recruitment video and travels to Bangkok with them. There, she reunites with Lee Fasin, whom she once had a crush on. ©SBS

Fasin, whose pride was hurt after Nari touched his chest and suggested he might have breast cancer, lashes out at her with harsh words. Hurt, Nari drinks with a junior colleague before the live broadcast. Completely drunk, she forgets about the recording and calls Jongwon. After ending the call, Nari realizes the program has started and rushes to the studio. ©SBS

Nari makes a blunder on air and gets fired as the weathercaster. Just then, Jongwon appears before her and offers words of encouragement. Nari feels even emptier hearing Jongwon's warm words. Meanwhile, seeing Nari depressed, Fasin goes to the station manager to protest, insisting Nari should be recognized. That same Fasin heads to the hospital to hear his test results...©SBS

Nari and Fasin end up in the same room at the breast clinic. The night before surgery, unable to sleep, they spend time together. Nari reminisces about the time she had feelings for Fashin, while Fashin, unable to fully accept his breast cancer diagnosis, treats Nari coldly. Nari was discharged first to return to the broadcasting station. Fasin, still unable to leave the hospital, felt a pang of loneliness inside as Nari prepared to go home. Fasin tried to delay Nari's discharge by asking her to run errands for him. By chance, Jongwon learned about Nari's past, and Nari and Jongwon grew even closer. After his brother dies and he gets kicked out of his house, Fasin starts sleeping in the TV station's night duty room. Nari, assigned to the morning broadcast, also stays overnight in the duty room. Thanks to Fasin's matchmaking, Nari and Jongwon grow closer. Jongwon tells Fasin about how he met Nari, leaving Fasin with mixed feelings.
