Mystery begins when a renovation of ‘Goddess Ninth Temple’ takes place at a quiet town in Province Tin Pen. The completion date of renovation is close; hence, Governor LI YUEN is invited to be the honor of guest for the opening ceremony of the temple. Just when the ceremony starts, strange thing happens. An unexpected storm arrives suddenly; and the statue of ‘Goddess Ninth’ disappears mysteriously. The temple administrator SUEN KONG critics the faithfulness of the villagers and states that ‘Goddess Ninth’ abandons Tin Pen is owing to their mistrust. Meanwhile, the villagers scare to bear the consequence and put the blame on YUEN instead. YUEN is smart; and he soon discovers the truth behind screen. He fools KONG to confess the story and forces him to draw the picture of ‘Goddess Ninth’ and places it at the temple again.… ...

MO CHAN ZI plays black magic on the maid of WAN, FA KOO also and orders KOO to take WAN to the ‘Goddess Ninth Temple’. Then MO makes up a story to fool the villagers to obey him. In order to remove the damage of mirror, KAM visits the lake and cleans up the stain on the mirror daily. One day, he meets the father of WAN, KAU SAM YUN, on his way. Due to some misunderstanding, KAM offends YUN by blocking his way. As the Governor of Tin Pen, YUEN has the responsibility to maintain the order of the town. Hence, YUN assigns YUEN to question KAM. Meanwhile, YUEN helps KAM to defend trickily; thus, KAM is acquittal at last. On the other hand, YUN appreciates the talent of YUEN and feels pity that he just takes up such a small role in the province. It is a happy moment for WAN to reunion with YUN. WAN cannot wait to share her little secret with her father privately. Apart, KAM conflicts with YUN again; when YUN orders to execute a horse. After the stolen of abalone incident, LANG criticizes FA has eaten up all the mushrooms again. On contrary, FA accuses LANG has stolen the mushrooms instead. Suddenly, FA has a storm ache; yet, misleads KAM that his spell works. He then forces FA to admit her dishonesty. YU YUK TON is a close friend of YUEN and has become the champion of the Hanlin Academy recently. TON visits YUEN according to the appointment that made three years ago.… ...

KAM believes that it is done by the spirit of SUET. Therefore, YUEN offers scarify at the tomb of SUET at night; however, he is frightened by the haunt of ghost and returns home quickly. That night, YUEN has a strange nightmare and gets the inspiration from SUET. However, TON does not believe his story. The next day, The Empress rebukes TON for lacking care of Princess WING MING; thus, makes her suffer and ill. While Princess WING MING is hesitate to believe the promise of TON also. She insists TON to prove his love with facts and looks at her with sincerity. On the other hand, YUEN studies Yun Tin bible in order to finds solution to help SUET. And the bible tells him that a precious named ‘Pearl of Moon’ can help SUET to revive.… ...

WAN wakes up at last. Moreover, she admits that she assigns KAM to steal the ‘Pearl of Moon’. Though CHUNG feels hard to believe, he agrees to give up the investigation. Meanwhile, WAN is aware to the leniency that CHUNG provides her. Quite unexpectedly, Princess MING and WAN become good friends and shares the same viewpoint towards love. Besides, YUEN thinks that it is too risky for WAN to stay in the Palace and tends to take her away as soon as possible. However, WAN still wants to steal the ‘Pearl of Moon’ from Princess MING and helps SUET to revive. WAN insists to take the risk and finds a chance. The time has come. Although WAN steals the pearl with cautious; she does not smart enough to escape the sight of MING. Finally, SUET is revived and meets TON again.
