MAN YAT LONG (Freeman) is transferred back to Hong Kong from his US headquarters. His family members include his parents, CHIU KIT and MEI SIN, two brothers, RAY and CHING, and most important of all his grandpa, MAN TAI LOI, who is a school principal and in charge of everything at home. After being bullied on purpose by his new boss Miss SZE, FREEMAN hurries to meet LOI for lunch and meets Miss SZE again on the street. To keep his bread and butter, KIT approaches his superior, CHUNG, and negotiates his transfer. Knowing CHING is a painting lover, KIT gives CHUNG a famous and expensive painting that belongs to LOI. After being fired, FREEMAN buys a ticket to L.A. to see his girlfriend, ANNIE. Unexpectedly, FREEMAN meets ANNIE, who has just returned, in Hong Kong Airport.
