O Começo de Uma Nova Vida (no original em inglês, New Life Begins) é uma série chinesa.

Lindas mulheres de toda a China viajam de suas cidades natais para a corte de Xinchuan para um evento especial: a família governante decidirá quais dessas jovens estão preparadas para casar com os seis herdeiros masculinos da família. Entre essas mulheres está Li Wei. Ela é simples, despretensiosa e um tanto culturalmente desajeitada, e tem pouco interesse nesse “concurso”. Ela prefere seguir com sua vida e levar uma vida tranquila e pacífica em sua cidade natal.

Mas, para sua surpresa, ela é selecionada para se casar com um dos os jovens herdeiros — Yin Zheng. Um jovem quieto, gentil, inteligente e um tanto introvertido, ele é indiscutivelmente o menos favorecido entre os herdeiros. Como tal, seu casamento é uma mera formalidade para os governantes de Xinchuan. Eles o colocam nas margens da corte e o encarregam de tarefas servis.

Third Young Master is impeached for not attending the court for a long time. Xin Plains Master does not want to make a fuss and asks his brothers to get him back. But no one is willing to do the job, so Yin Zheng takes on the troublesome task and brings Li Wei to visit the Third Young Master.

Finally, after some effort, Li Wei was able to obtain the right to order dishes.

He is then asked to organize the Mid-Autumn Palace Banquet.
