In the 1st year of Zhengsheng, Empress of The Da Zhou Dynasty MO TSAK TIN has invited the celebrated chancellors TIK YAN KIT for flower appreciation in the Imperial Garden. TIN told KIT that she dreamed of herself picking a pear and dividing it by two. Her nephew Prince NGAI – MO SHING CHI said this was bad while KIT’s youngest son KING-FAI thought the underneath meaning was reunion. TIN then wanted to allow her exiled son Prince LO LING – LEE HIN coming back to the Capital. HIN’s wife Lady TSUN was not feeling good during the banquet. KIT examined her pulse condition and looked different. The Royal Doctor SUEN diagnosed that TSUN was pregnant for 4 months, which was exulted TIN. However, Lady TSUN was found drown and death in the pond. KIT thought she was murdered and indicated some doubtful points. TIN has appointed KIT and CHI’s eldest son TING-MING for investigation.… ...

CHI and MING went to the palace of Lady CHOR and said she was the murderer who killed TSUN. CHOR denied. MING hit CHOR into coma and wanted to set up a trap of hanging. Luckily KIT and LUEN arrived. KIT and his team then headed to the palace of Prince NGAI for MING. Princess has stopped them by showing them the Royal Embroidery. Meanwhile the Scholar SHEUNG-KOON YUEN-YEE has brought the team there. MING then confessed and revealed the details of murdering TSUN. CHI pleaded TIN to mitigate MING’s crime exiling him. KIT has objected and TIN then sentenced MING to death. CHI has detested MING and swore to kill him to revenge for MING. As KIT has disrespected the Royal Embroidery, he was demoted to Officer of Luozhou. KIT intended to restructure the casinos and prostitutes’ houses in Luozhou. LUEN was teased by the junior owner SUNG TING-YUK when she was investigating the casino.… ...

Great Madam TIK and YUK used requiting God as an excuse to introduce a man to LUEN. LUEN thought that it was YUK to be introduced. She satirized him but was then teased by him. YUK took her jade. CHOR was glad. Having learnt the release of HIN, CHI planned to kill him. TAK volunteered to take care of it. On the other hand, YUK prepared to take the exam of military officer but NGO objected. The mother and son then came with an agreement. If YUK failed the exam, he should take care of NGO’s businesses. Otherwise, NGO would retire. YUK was assigned to be the Captain of Luozhou Province and was tit for tat with LUEN. The tribute was turned to stones during transportation. KIT believed that somebody has exchanged the tribute. Also, he found out YUET’s younger brother CHO HON was being one of the escort team. HANG and his wife visited TIK’s house pleaded KIT to save HON. While KIT tried to argue with CHI, YEE arrived and reported the palace of Prince LO LING was caught fire and HIN died in the accident. TIN was so sad and ordered to kill all neglected officials. KIT could not help. CHI has applauded TAK for his merits and believed he would be the prince-to-be. The officer-dressed thieves were found died in the cave. KIT found the location of the stolen tribute by those traces. Meanwhile, CHI has ordered to execute HON. KIT and the team arrived the execution ground and requested to review the previous judgment during the critical moment. CHI was enraged. After TIN has executed the prime culprit, CHI deemed that they should not be lenient towards HON and the other officials and proposed to banish them. HON and the others were exiled to Cangzhou. YUET and HANG were both sad to see HON off. HON and YUET were reconciled. LUEN and YUK have cracked the underground casino and arrested the casino owner and NGO. KIT punished the casino owner severely and instructed YUK to bastinado NGO. In order to act justly, YUK did it reluctantly. HIN’s wife Lady WAI has returned to the Capital. TIN questioned her about the details of HIN’s death. CHOR satirized WAI of choosing to live on in disgrace instead of dying honorably.… ...

The plague in Luozhou was getting more serious and even YUET was infected. In order not to involve TIK’s family, YUET decided to separate herself even with her own son. LUEN has arranged meeting for HIN and WAI but was discovered by TAK. He chased to TIK’s house but luckily by the smart TIK’s family, HIN’s track has not been revealed. As KIT could not get the medicine to soothe the plague in the city, the mob was rioting against them dashing the gate and wanted to leave the city. KIT was injured. He knelt down begging for forgiveness and promised to get the medicine in 5 days. Otherwise he would let them leaving the city. LUEN and YUK went to Zhengzhou tracing the medicine and discovered it was taken by somebody with false document. In the meantime, they got acquainted with LAU FEI-YEUNG. LAU promised to track the medicine for them. They found out that it was taken by CHI’s younger brother SAM-SZ.… ...

HIN saved YUET. TIK’s family knelt down begging HIN to save the people in Luozhou as well. They affected HIN. Meanwhile, LUEN and YUK have escorted the medicine and arrested SZ bringing them back to the Capital. The plague was relieved. The people went to the police station thanking HIN and KIT. HIN has finally admitted his real identity. TAK went to Yuzhou reporting failure of the assassination. CHI tried to be the first one reporting to TIN and accused KIT of cheating. TIN was enraged and returned to Luozhou. She was glad that HIN was still alive. SZ was sentenced leniently for stealing medicine. CHI thanked SZ for shouldering the guilt but condemned TAK for failing to kill HIN. On the other hand, WAI frustrated but was encouraged by YEE who gave her a poem. WAI comprehended TIN’s strategy of playing chess when she was playing with CHI. TIN jested WAI of knowing everything.… ...
