The King of Snooker

A retired snooker masterhand YAU YAT-KIU has opened a restaurant “Cue Power” in Sai Kung. He likes fishing at leisure time. The junior owner of the renowned dessert shop KAN TSZ-HIM looked for KIU at “Cue Power” in Sai Kung. However, he mistakenly recognized KIU’s younger brother YEE-PO as KIU and was teased by KIU’s daughter KA-KAN. KA-KAN’s new boss CHIN TO-TO was on board but she just viewed KA-KAN as a hard working cow. HIM went to “Cue Power” again asking KIU to be his tutor. Also, he attempted to take a look at the legendary “Yee Tin Cue” but unfortunately hurt KIU. “Yee Tin Cue” was found missing. KIU suspected HIM. Having interrogated HIM, KIU found that he has already tried very hard to look for it which has impressed KIU. KIU set up a trap to draw the person taking “Yee Tin Cue” out and tell the truth……

KIU watched the contest of his daughter KAN. During the break, he checked if KAN was injured as he found KAN’s posture was different from before. KAN felt severely painful of her arm and decided to withdraw from the contest. HIM introduced KIU to TO but TO forced KIU to leave unexpectedly. HIM asked TO why she hated KIU but TO did not tell him the truth. She just claimed that KIU has won HIM’s father SAU-MAN. TO’s boyfriend JASON proposed to TO in front of her family. TO was so glad. In order to learn from her father, KAN tried to arrange KIU playing snooker again. Having found the truth, KIU has blamed her daughter. Meanwhile, TO arrived with swell…… While KAN was quarrelling with KIU, KIU cheated her that the “Yee Tin Cue” was sold out. HIM then bought it back. KAN asked HIM to return the cue to her father. They had quarrels. In the birthday party of KIU, HIM gave him the “Yee Tin Cue” as a birthday present.

HIM found KIU having “shrimp paste toast” for breakfast and requested one for himself. PO suspected they were father and son because of similar taste. PO took an opportunity to visit KAN in her office in order to investigate the relationship of KIU and HIM. TO and JASON took the car to a garage for repair and thought KIN-CHUNG was a worker over there. KM told TO that they would cooperate with a world-class snooker player. TO found out that player was CHUNG actually. Having found the business of the dessert shop of HIM’s family dropping a lot, KIU relayed to TO. TO and HIM investigated the books of the shop and found out they were facing a financial difficulty. HIM interrogated his second uncle SAU-TAK who has managed the shop. However, HIM was blamed by TAK of his idleness and extravagant behavior. HIM was shocked. TO could not reach HIM and tried to find him in KIU’s restaurant.

KM asked TO striving for a contract cooperating with CHUNG. However, TO has just sent KAN to visit CHUNG’s manager TONG TING. In fact TO was meeting CHUNG in person. CHUNG has revealed TO for pretending his ex-schoolmate approaching him. While TO went shopping with her cousin MARY, she witnessed that her fiance getting intimately with his ex-girlfriend STELLA. MARY has persuaded TO pretending nothing happened. On the other hand, TO discovered that HIM has sold out the family business to TAK. She was enraged. HIM outrageously stated that he would open a restaurant. In order to let HIM understand that he has no such kind of experience, KIU let HIM working in his restaurant. HIU-KO returned the cue that HIM gave him. He even told HIM that he was spoiling time with him as instructed by his father. TO convinced HIM to take the challenge offered by KO……

KIU has agreed to teach HIM which has enraged KAN. KIU explained that he would just teach HIM the principles of being a good man instead of snooker techniques. HIM has become a staff in the restaurant and has a fresh start. On the other hand, TO found JASON and STELLA meeting in a hotel room. During the quarrel, TO and STELLA both fell down to the swimming pool. However, JASON just took care of STELLA which triggered TO breaking up with him. While TO was meeting JASON, she returned all the gifts to him and consolidated the monetary issues between them. Having found out PO giving all the work to HIM, KAN took HIM out of the restaurant and told HIM that KIU did not have intention to teach him snooker techniques. KAN asked her father of her talent in playing snooker, KIU was shocked speechlessly. While KIU was viewing the CCTV tape of the restaurant, he found out HIM has overcome the difficult set – “3 balls in a stack”…

HIM has become a formal apprentice of KIU. KIU has requested HIM to put aside his hatred and not contesting with KO. HIM wanted to practice snooker but KIU asked him to work in the restaurant. In fact, KIU wanted to train HIM for his interpersonal skills. KM informed TO and KIN-CHUNG that they would cooperate in future. CHUNG told TO that this was him to make the initiative for cooperation. He asked TO to forget about her failure in love affairs and focus on work. KIU proposed to teach his daughter on snooker but KAN refused. KIU asked HIM to contest with the kids taught by PO. Unexpectedly, HIM lost. JASON sent the wedding invitation to TO in person. TO scolded him severely. Having seen that, HIM comforted TO by using the method how KIU has comforted him. With father’s advice, KAN defeated the competitor and agreed to be an apprentice of KIU.

KIU asked HIM to contest with KAN in order for them to better understand each other for improvement. On the other hand, KIU found an article of PO’s interview taken years ago and bought it for PO, however, it triggered a quarrel between them. PO proposed for a leave from the restaurant and house chores. Having talked to PO, KAN found that he wanted to open another restaurant. TO visited HIM in the restaurant. She found out he was not learning snooker from there but just working as a waiter instead. TO was angry. She brought HIM leaving the restaurant and even stopped him from learning snooker there. KIU has allotted 50% shares of the restaurant to PO in a solicitor’s firm in order to reconcile with him. KIU found that PO knew an investment consultant and worried about PO for being cheated. PO decided to play margin rashly…… TO arranged HIM to work in her company and had KAN to train her. KAN was discontented.

With the help of KAN, HIM learned snooker from KIU secretly. PO intended to commit suicide by jumping into the sea. Actually he lost all his savings in the stock market and even has loaned for $1.5 million. HIM helped PO solve it. PO was affected but asked HIM not to reveal it to anybody. At the first time HIM met CHUNG, they both had nothing to talk. HIM brought the video tape to post-production company but lost the tape eventually after he got a phone call from PO…… TO would like to arrange re-casting, but CHUNG and TONG-TING have left Hong Kong. Eventually KIU helped them solve it. HIM told TO that he has already confessed his fault to KM and received a letter from him…… TO found HIM has withdrawn $500,000 from the bank……
