TAK is able to sell his skin care products to two women. He even gives them his name card. In fact, TAK is a staff of the “Thorough Private Investigation Company”. The boss of the investigation company, KETONE blames her staff, LONG, who fails in investigating a rich merchant who is suspected to have an illicit relationship. KETONE decides to handle the case by herself. TAK and YING devise to collect evidence against a man who cheated on getting insurance compensation. However, KETONE does not agree with TAK’s way. KETONE gets clue from the mistress, SANDY, and takes pictures. She quarrels with the sergeant, JOE when she is going to leave after taking few pictures. The young woman, LILY, appoints KETONE to investigate her husband, CHEONG who has disappeared. KETONE suspects that CHEONG is being kidnapped after listening to CHEONG’s telephone recording message. KETONE has an appointment with MAN. KETONE expresses that she has no confidence in man. JOE makes use of two girls to sell illegal drugs to LAN and takes the chance to arrest him. However, LAN escapes away. LAN meets KETONE. KETONE helps JOE to arrest LAN. However, KETONE’s act scares MAN away. LONG finds that CHEONG must have been trapped in Tai Po. KETONE asks JOE to burst into the house to save CHEONG. However, they only see a girl, LING. KETONE finds the case very strange. LILY receives an authorization letter issued by CHEONG with his signature. It authorizes LING to take the seals of the insurance company. KETONE suggests examine the handwriting by a forensic expert. KETONE places an overhearing mechanism in LING’s office. KETONE’s uncle, MING, volunteers to help. KETONE follows LING. KETONE and TAK follow LING to the pub. They overheard LING argues with a director, MAN. Unexpectedly, LING lets MAN to supervise another sales team which is a very strange arrangement. Later, KETONE and TAK find that MAN died at his home. JOE suspects LING. KETONE does not agree. The police finds that there is CHEONG’s finger-print on the murder weapon. They even find out that CHEONG has rented a resort bungalow. LING points out that CHEONG has already jumped into sea to kill himself. KETONE and TAK go to a lawyer firm for a business meeting. TAK takes the chance to arrange match-make meeting for KETONE. KETONE is very embarrassed. JOE’s colleague, SHENG, forces JOE to go to the nightclub. MING finds LING’s address. KETONE and TAK hurry to see LING. TAK gives LING a call so as to tempt her leave home. He then bursts into her home and investigates a girl. LING returns and blames TAK and KETONE. TAK finds out LING’s real identity. Meanwhile, LILY appears with a knife and pierces LING. In fact, the girl in the house is the real LING. TAK advises KETONE to LILY’s case as an example. It leads a staff, YING, talks about KETONE’s father. MING asks for the details about KETONE’s father, all keep their mouth shut. KETONE feels very guilty when she heard that JOE and BOWIE are still quarrelling. BOWIE is sick. KETONE brings her to see the doctor. JOE hurries to the clinic. TAK goes to CHING’s restaurant to search for the dog. However, he is in vain. He then posts some bill nearby. KETONE asks BOWIE why she is in a mood. KETONE sees YIP and WAI. She praises them who are model husband and wife. BOWIE makes up her mind after listening to KETONE’s comment on YIP and WAI. All posts are being torn off. It was CHING’s deed. In fact, the dog has saved CHING’s life. CHING is reluctant to hand over the dog to hem. YIP finds that his dog dare not to get close to WAI and him. He suspects that somebody has maltreated his dog. He asks TAK to investigate. BOWIE is pregnant. BOWIE is very excited. TAK and KETONE follow WAI. They discover that WAH, also a detective, is following them. WAI and BOWIE have a big quarrel. YIP leaves with WAI. BOWIE makes up her mind. KETONE sees that BOWIE takes wedding picture with JOE as usual. KETONE questions BOWIE. YIP finds out that BOWIE has resigned and will get married very soon. He is in a dilemma. On the wedding day, JOE receives a call from BOWIE. BOWIE claims that she will not show up. JOE questions KETONE. KETONE tells JOE the truth. JOE suffers a great blow. JOE announces to call off the wedding. WAI arrives and accuses BOWIE who has competed with her for YIP. YIP proposes to divorce WAI. WAI begs BOWIE to give up YIP. YIP goes to the police station to explain the case. JOE hits YIP. BOWIE meets JOE. BOWIE is thus being prosecuted. KETONE reminds BOWIE to recall any witnesses that could prove her innocence. BOWIE thinks of a homeless wanderer. BOWIE asks this homeless wanderer to be her witness.
