Sobre a história

The members of WINR (pronounced "Winner") respond when members of the alien Baltan race attack Earth, but the Baltans are only fended off when a gigantic alien, Ultraman Powered, joins with WINR member Kenichi Kai and gives him the power to metamorphose into Ultraman in times of danger. At the end of the first episode Ultraman declares that the Baltans were not completely defeated and that he will remain on Earth to continue the fight. WINR and Ultraman destroy numerous other monsters, but WINR learns that the Baltans were arranging all the battles to learn Ultraman's strengths and weaknesses

Theresa Beck & Kenichi Kai are sent to investigate and Kai disappears when another tremor rocks the cavern. While Beck tries to console herself for losing Kai, the rest of the WINR team has determined that the seismic activity is being caused by a strange object moving underground toward the city.

An energy company has been tracking what they believe to be a moving underground uranium mine. Mr. Keins, the head of the company comes to WINR after one of his drivers is seemingly swallowed by the ground itself. WINR arrives at the site where the company plans to blast open the uranium mine with dynamite. However, instead of a mine, they end up bringing a giant monster called Gabora (who isn't referred by the name) to the surface.
