Whatever It Takes

As there is a wide spread of rumor saying that the ‘Dragon Ball’ is the vital support of the Tang Dynasty. The favourite concubine of Emperor TANG KO, WU ZHE TIN orders her loyal subordinate, LO, to destroy the ‘Dragon Ball’ in order to usurp the monarchy. Goddess, BRIGETTE is appointed by the leading God in heaven to undertake the cleaning responsibilities of the ‘Dragon Ball’. LO escapes from her sight and destroys the ‘Dragon Ball’; nevertheless, BRIGETTE is trapped in the Ball due to her carelessness. KO dies. WU eventually becomes the empress. She abolishes Prince DAN and orders LO to kill his young son, LUTHER. Fortunately, a maid carries LUTHER and escapes from palace. She abandons LUTHER in the forest and leaves. Twenty years later, LUTHER’s mother, CHEN thinks of her lost son too much and has become insane. Before she is driven out from the capital due to her madness, she recovers the ‘Dragon Ball’ in the jail by accident……

In the auction, LUTHER annoys YANG with his haughtiness. YANG puts the resentment in heart. PAK misunderstands SI is come from the illustrious society, therefore, creates a lot of chances for him to spend with ICY alone. LUTHER meets his biological mother, CHEN by chance. Strangely, he finds a certain kind of intimacy from CHEN. ICY is impressed by LUTHER’s kindness, when she saw LUTHER takes care of CHEN gently with patient. YANG cannot forgive SI and LUTHER for making him embarrass, he sends someone to disclose their real background and their indecent acts. ICY is disappointed to learn the truth. SI also takes revenge and assaults YANG in sudden, YANG is thrown off from the horseback and injured. YANG’s rage increases and bribes the officials to have SI and LUTHER under arrested. ICY begs YANG to release them, but failed……

BRIGETTE is awaken by LUTHER, when he swallowed the ‘Dragon Ball’. Since then, LUTHER becomes very powerful with the strength from the Ball. YANG is scared by the unknown power of LUTHER and admitted his wrong accusation on SI and LUTHER. SI recognises the power of LUTHER can earn money, he arranges him to perform in public. Because of overmuch performances, BRIGETTE cannot withstand and get out from LUTHER’s body through his mouth. LUTHER loses the strength immediately but carries on the performance in high risk. BRIGETTE is curious about everything in human life, however, her magic is weakening by each day she stays in human world. BRIGETTE demonstrates her magic power to LUTHER in order to prove her Goddess identity. Furthermore, she seeks for LUTHER assistance to find the ‘Dragon Ball’ to restore the prosperity of Tang Dynasty. Since LUTHER swallowed the Ball, BRIGETTE has to follow him home……

In order to force YANG withdraw from the marriage engagement with ICY, SI requests LUTHER to follow YANG and find flaw on him. But LUTHER fails and is beaten by YANG’s followers. On the wedding day, ICY rejects to marry YANG, therefore, BRIGETTE plays her spell and turns YANG into a monster. The wedding calls off finally. SI boasts that the spell is made by him, who impressed LILY directly. Meanwhile, LUTHER feels bitter in heart. LUTHER asks BRIGETTE to bring back his memory and the past. Therefore, BRIGETTE leads him to his past and return to his childhood, shatters pieces across his memory. He saw himself was being amused by SI; then, he saw a baby was being abandoned in the forest by a maid from the palace; as soon as he is going to see the face of CHEN, BRIGETTE’s magic fades out. ICY discovers that it was LUTHER, who rescued her in the river, she draws her love affection towards LUTHER secretly……

ICY feels suspicious about the relationship between LUTHER and BRIGETTE and does not believe that they were lover. Hence, LUTHER tries to behave bad by visiting the night club. ICY ends up with disappointment. LUTHER is drunk and throw out the ‘Dragon Ball’. BRIGETTE realises the lost of ‘Dragon Ball’ and searches everywhere; nevertheless, her body begins to fades out. In fact, the ‘Dragon Ball’ is picked up by CHEN. In order to thank for the kindness of LUTHER, CHEN gives the Ball to LUTHER again. BRIGETTE is saved from disappearing. CHEN takes LUTHER to a ruined temple, where she lived and treats him as her own son. PAK teased SI for his poorest; furthermore, PAK emphasis that those who would be qualified to marry his daughter must at least have a carriage. SI seeks for the assistance of LUTHER, thus, LUTHER requests the help from BRIGETTE……

Because of the help of BRIGETTE, SI turns into famous with his dignified carriage. Meanwhile, BRIGETTE seeks for the assistance of LUTHER in finding two kindness twilight to strengthen her power in searching the real prince. LUTHER takes BRIGETTE to visit CHEN in the ruined temple. Unexpectedly, the charity of CHEN transforms into one of the kindness twilight, which is BRIGETTE looking for. PAK would like to bribes the high rank official with gift and pave the way to return to the imperial. Hence, he requests SI to sponsor an antique. SI cheats LUTHER for BRIGETTE’s assistance then. SI gets the antique and presents it to PAK. PAK is impressed. Knowing that he was being cheated by SI, LUTHER swears to be more careful next time. WU sets off a journey in disguise, PAK takes the chance and presents the antique to WU directly, hoping to have her consent in returning to the imperial. But WU refuses and his hope shattered……

Because of poorest, SI knows he is unqualified to flirt PAK’s daughter, ICY. Hence, he asks BRIGETTE to lend him the magic power in order to win the gambles. BRIGETTE takes the chance to make fool of SI; of course, SI loses in the gamble and is beaten. WU intends to build a better relationship with DAN and HEEN and invites them for a feast. However, her wish for an intimate family is vanished, when DAN and HEEN attend the feast in panic. WU is upset. LUTHER would like to return the jade accessory to WU and waits for her in the restaurant. WU appreciates the honesty of LUTHER and orders her subordinate to deliver a handsome reward to him. LUTHER fails to refuse, so he delivers the fortunes to the poverty people in the name of WU. WU is moved by his noble character, suddenly, the other twilight of kindness appears. LUTHER hurries to bring the twilight to BRIGETTE……

Before the mirror breaks into pieces, BRIGETTE can only see the half face of the real prince. LANG tries to convince BRIGETTE that SI is the person she saw in the mirror. Hence, BRIGETTE believes in uncertainty and obeys SI thereafter. LUTHER is distress when he finds BRIGETTE and SI are always together. Their relationship grows deeper then. SI makes up an excuse for saving the starve people and asks BRIGETTE to stop the time passing, so that he can rob the treasury. Therefore, BRIGETTE holds tight to the time chain for SI. SI meets YANG unexpectedly and nearly spoils his robbery. SI makes use of the trice and rob a lot of gold and other treasuries……
